The clients required a house that addressed noise problems from the adjacent Willowbank Car racing precinct. For this reason strawbales were chosen for their superior acoustic and insulation properties.
The house for 3 people was designed with a central circulation and service area. On either side were separate adult's and children's wings with a wrap around verandah. The clients have advised that it has performed beyond expectations.
